Thanksgiving centerpiece to do with your kids!

I don't know about you but I have always loved doing gingerbread houses at the holidays.  More recently, retailers have come out with haunted gingerbread houses and gingerbread turkeys!  I had the most fun decorating "Tom the Turkey" with my kids for another option for a Thanksgiving Centerpiece.  I purchased a kit from Michaels and spent less than 30 minutes making this with my kiddos!  

To set the table I found a brown charger to place Tom the Turkey on and nestled my votives, pumpkins and pine cones in eucalyptus branches to give the table an added dimension (see close-up below). 

I love the tradition of making things with my kids and love how Tom the Turkey brings an element of fun and sophistication to the Thanksgiving Collection.
