A "fresh" centerpiece for Thanksgiving
Fresh flowers bring life and an important element of texture to any table. Different combinations of flowers can bring new dimensions to any table - especially our Thanksgiving collection.
On my Instagram page, I show you exactly how to make this gorgeous arrangement, but here, I want to detail out what I used (purchased at the grocery store or Trader Joes).
For a place setting of 4, I recommend one arrangement, so you will need:
- 3 white hydrangeas
- 6 Darwi orange tulips
- 6 - 7 yellow and orange dutch tulips
- 3 stems of green hypericums
For a place setting of 8, I recommend two arrangements, so you will need:
- 6 white hydrangeas
- 12 Darwi orange tulips
- 12 - 13 yellow and orange dutch tulips
- 6 stems of green hypericums
For a place setting of 12, I recommend three arrangements, so you will need:
- 9 white hydrangeas
- 18 Darwi orange tulips
- 18 - 20 yellow and orange dutch tulips
- 9 stems of green hypericums
For the vase, I recommend something about 6 - 8 inches high and about 5 - 6 inches in diameter. I used three containers that were Nest candles. I love to burn Nest candles and then save the containers for flowers.
Also, I recommend putting these arrangements together a day or two before your event or Thanksgiving to allow the tulips time to open up.
If you have questions, leave me a comment or message me on Instagram (@festivesets). Happy arranging!
